The Walking Dead 2

Like I said, I've been re-watching The Walking Dead, and I've come back to one of my favorite episodes. Now, a lot of people I talked to didn't like the episode, Clear with Morgan Crazyman- sorry, I just had to, but I did. Anyway, while I was watching the opening scene in which a desperate man chases after Rick's car, it occurred to me that, for the good guy, he sure is hesitant to help people. The Governor is taking these strangers he doesn't know in, giving them food, shelter, and a purpose, but Rick and Michonne are just blithely passing starving, desperate people up and then casually picking up their belongings after they're dead.

That's actually the kind of thing the BAD guy usually does. And, I know what you're saying, he's doing it to protect the people he cares about, but , my God, he already had Merle living there! And, his hesitance to help people got him in trouble too. He killed that man he passed up just as surely as the Governor killed those soldiers. At least the Governor didn't leave them to the "biters" and, that's another thing, why won't this show call them what they are? I guess they live in a universe that never had zombie films so that way everyone's not like, 'Hey! Haven't you guys ever seen a zombie movie!? Shoot them in the head!'

Isn't it weird, though, that we can continue to think of Rick as a hero when he's actually becoming a...well, not a villain, but. kind of ant-hero.

I guess Shane was right in a way, he's not really made for this world. He hasn't really left crazytown, as Glenn called it, either as he keeps seeing Lori everywhere. After he bit that guy's throat out, we can see he's really going for the deep end, even though he was very justified in doing it. It's crazy, no pun intended, but when he got that "phone-call" I thought it was real! Only when Herschel picked it up and gave him a crazy look did I realize that he was imagining it.

Unlike our friend, Morgan though, Rick managed to pull himself out of Crazyville enough to lead our group. This episode that I finished watching, Clear, a lot of people I talked to actually didn't like it very much. Wasn't enough action. But I did, because not only did we finally find out what happened to Morgan, but it had one of my favorite quotes from the show in it.

"Your son, is he dead? No? He will be. Because you see, the good people,
the people like you, they always die. And the bad people do, to. Be the
weak people, the people like me, we have inherited the Earth."

It was a sad episode. No wonder the poor man went insane. But what did he mean by clear? Anyway, it tied up a loose end. Speaking of loose ends, one the show never cleared up was-who was the person in black that opened the gates at the prison? Remember when they first got to the prison and thought they had it secured, but then someone in black opened the gate and lured walkers in? And then the person in black crashed through the gates when the Governor attacked? The Governor acted as though he was surprised so it wasn't him. Tomas and that black prisoner Oscar killed were already dead, Milton didn't have the balls, it wasn't Michonne or Carol, but it did look feminine. They never cleared up who it was, but I think who-ever it is, they kidnapped Beth.

Speaking of Beth, who do you think kidnapped her? Is she still alive? It's possible that the cannibals at the camp may be responsible. Maybe they plan to sacrifice her. Maybe the mysterious person in black is one of them? I wonder if they did this bonding episode between Beth and Daryl for a reason? Do you think something is developing between them? I know that Carl was giving Beth the googly eyes for a while there, and they've already done a love triangle for Lori and Rick, and the love of Maggie and Glenn is one of the central story-lines? Plus, it would open up new stories as the friction it would cause between them and the jealous Carol and Carl. Besides, everyone else in the show that hasn't died has been fixed up.

Something tells me Herschel wouldn't be as happy. But he's dead now, anyway. I just wish they hadn't killed him the way they did and that Michonne had got to his corpse before he turned.

Speaking of death on the show, I would have to say, hands down the most depressing episode so far has to be ''Look at the Flowers." Carol should never have left Lizzie alone with the others when she started showing signs that she was a crazy little bitch that thought the rotting corpses walking around were people. But then, Carol's a dumb-ass . I hope the cannibals eat her.

Bad Seed, Walking Dead style.

Speaking of cannibals? How do you think our friends are going to escape Terminus? Do you think they've already eaten Beth? Michonne will probably have to save them somehow, but someone else might die in the process. Who do you think it will be? I guess you can tell who I want to die. Maybe Glenn will die and it'll be revealed that Maggie is pregnant. I don't know.

I think this is a case of, 'out of the fire into the frying pan'.

I can't wait till October!!

Not her, I hope.
